Welcome to Expertiko. For the purposes of this Policy, the terms “we”, “us”, our”, and Company refer to as Expertiko or Company and all our affiliates. “You” refers to you, as a user of this application. Explained in this section is our policy regarding any personal information you might supply to us when you register for our application. Our Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine highest-quality price expertise services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our users. This Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide us with, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our application and our products and services. This statement will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our users’ needs. .

Your Consent

By using this application, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Company’s Privacy Policy applies to individuals and we reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy, along with related procedures, at any time.

Personal Information

During registration, Expertiko asks the user to provide a verifiable e-mail address, a public display name of choice, and a password. The e-mail address will never be made public, and it serves to uniquely identify every user, as well as enable communication if needed. The display name is a unique alphanumeric name with no spaces, and is visible to all users. Expertiko also programmatically obtains the user’s country of residence (for statistics), as they have specified in the settings of their device. After registering, users will be asked for permission to be sent notifications, which include sound, app icon badge, and alert box. Users may also choose to upload a profile picture which will be visible to all users. When a user uploads a post, Expertiko obtains the country (and not the precise location) from which the post is being uploaded. The post uploader asks the user for permission to use the camera, as well as location services. Expertiko will only make public: display name, profile picture, uploaded content including posts and comments, and the the posts’ country of origin.

Data Deletion

The App allows users to delete their posts, comments, and replies. To delete a post, visit the post’s detail page, and tap “Delete”. To delete a comment or a reply, tap the “X” in the upper right corner of the comment or reply. Users may not delete their price guesses. Users may only change their profile pictures, not remove, in their Profiles. Expertiko has the right to delete any data that violates the app.

Information Security

Expertiko uses Google Firebase to store your information. Please refer to Google Firebase to learn about how your data is stored and protected.

Children’s Privacy

Our application is not intended for the use of children. We do not knowingly solicit data from children, or target them in marketing.
